That first drive on your own after you pass can be daunting, but it doesn't need to be. I recommend that your first trip out after you pass is on your own, so you have no pressure and your concentration levels are higher. 	Even after you pass your test, your safety is still important to us and thats why everyone who passes with Crown School of Motoroing will receive a pair of Green P Plates to use on their car. A high percentage of accidents involve new drivers, and its been proven that new drivers who use P plates are less likely to be involved in an accident. We recommend the use of P plate for 6 months after you pass. This of course is completely your decision, but your pass plates are waiting for you.
	Pass Plus is a course introduced by the Government for new drivers, in an aim to reduce accidents. Its recommened that a minimum of 6 hours is spent out on the road to try and give experience on motorways, night driving and all weather driving. Once you have completed the course you will be given a certificate number which some insurance companies will accept and offer a 40% reduction on your insurance premium. This can be a massive saving when some new drivers are quoted thousands to insure their own car ,

	People don't realise how important tyres are in relation to safety. You can have the best car with the best brakes, however if your tyres aren't good enough, you won't stop in an emergency. Anyone that passes with Crown School of Motoroing is offered to have a free tyre safety check done by Ellen of Crown Tyres. She will look at the tread depth, age and condition of your tyres and will teach you how to keep any eye on them yourself. You will also receive a 10% discount on your first tyre purchase after you've passed with Crown School of Motoring.
